The Work of Marjorie "Jean" Ford (1945-2021)
Jean Ford was an inspiring teacher, dedicated to her students and to the art of teaching embroidery.
She had a creative sense of spirit, an innate sense of design and a creative, innovative interest in color.
Jean had a love for history, sociology and anthropology; she often related stories of history to embroidery.
Jean had extensive teaching experience in the needle arts, as well as in her other artistic pursuits – pottery and watercolor painting. Jean completed the EAC Teacher Certification in June 2005.
RIP Jean. You will be missed.
